Newbe here you may of all been asked this question before but what do people use and find the best screen to use with the ex3 bike.

I think the bigger the better. And in my case, I'm using a wall mounted 50" TV right in front of the bike. Just get an Android TV box from places like Amazon and load the Echelon app.

Does it have to be a TV will it work with a LG Monitor as well?

If you use a monitor, you will get the video, but won't get the audio - unless your monitor has an audio out port that you could connect to some speakers.
