hey @BobK welcome to the forum. I can't say that I've seen someone connect their bike with Garmin. I've only heard of being able to connect with fitibit/strava. Have there been other issues with the bike or is that the main one?
That's a bit annoying that it's split between the two devices but it's great to see that it can actually be done.I haven't found a way to connect it to my Garmin Vivoactive 4s, however I've heard from others that could with the newest Garmin Fenix.
I wish the process involved less apps and manual editing....but for me when I start up a class I do the following:
The thing that stinks is that when they feed over to Strava, neither captures all the information I want. The below two activities were actually ONE activity fed into Strava separately by Garmin and Echelon. My Garmin activity has my average heart rate, calories and time; my Echelon activity has the distance, time and speed. Wish I could marry all that info into one activity post.
- Start my Indoor Bike activity on Garmin
- I also wear my Wahoo chest strap heart rate monitor because it will connect to their app so I can see it on there
- I have also elected to pair my Echelon account with my Strava account so that it will send my after ride distance and time spent there
- My Garmin is also connected to Strava

I've sort of given up. I tried that, but it's painful. I do the workout and take a picture of the screen at the end with my phone. ECHELON should just attach the picture (I suspect they could capture a screenshot at the end of every workout) and send that to you attached to the end of workout email...T

I totally agree with how exhausting it is trying to figure out a work around; and then the work around is a hassle each time! And, I agree. Echelon should be able to send a screenshot of the workout in the email. Also, since they already have paired up with Strava, it would be nice if they sent ALL the stats to Strava! Like output throughout ride, average output, heart rate, etc.I've sort of given up. I tried that, but it's painful. I do the workout and take a picture of the screen at the end with my phone. I agree It really is shortsighted for Echelon to not have a solution.I've sort of given up. I tried that, but it's painful. I do the workout and take a picture of the screen at the end with my phone. How long have you been using your Echelong for @ZerbZones? How do you find the classes are compared to Peloton?I totally agree with how exhausting it is trying to figure out a work around; and then the work around is a hassle each time! And, I agree. I actually have a different app downloaded that connects to my Echelon that does save all this info for me so I can upload it to my Strava. It shows all the info I need during the ride, just like the Echelon app, with a few added things like what zone I'm currently riding in. This allows me to fully participate in Power Zone training over on the Peloton app. Problem is, I can't use that app while the Echelon app is open, as the bike will only connect and send info to one app. I go back and forth between Echelon classes and Peloton classes. My Echelon subscription is free for one year and the Peloton app is around $13/month so worth it for me. I pasted the Strava zone info from my ride yesterday below. This group over on Facebook discusses the app, and the developer is on the group as well and responds almost daily to questions, feedback, requests. The app was $5.99 on Google Play and I think it's $3.99 on Apple. Facebook Groups
