The clicking can often be from the crank arm slipping off the bolt. Try removing the nut. Taking a rubber mallet to the crank arm and ensuring it is as tight as it can possibly can be before tightening the nut. The nut cannot be tightened so much as to push the crank arm on. It is only there as a safety measure. If you don’t have mallet use a block of wood and a hammer. It takes a lot of force to get it on fully.

Hi Folks am having issues along these lines and was wondering if any of you experienced this loud "knocking"

I have followed all online tutorials and advise from Echelon and it stops for a while but then comes back right now it's pretty bad so bike us unusable, support have said it's bearings on flywheel which is not the case as there is no movement at all everything is rock solid, am at a loss.

I had a similar sound which had something to do with the SPD mounts on the pedals. Recently i tried riding without the cleats and there was no sound, perhaps yours is something similar.

Crank Arm makes loud click when standing and pushing down on each turn of the pedal. I will also get the same noise when sitting and driving down hard on pedal.
I also had this problem and did everything trying to fix this noise...Lastly the belt was cleaned and this helped eliminate the noise for a few rides, noise came back so I replaced the belt and noise is gone. I contacted echelon and was able to order a new belt that comes with a pully kit for $11.00... problem solved. Hope this helps others.
