Unable to remove crank arm, EX4

Hi!
Trying to change crank arm on EX4
Previous owner put on 2 different crank arms!
Works well until final step. Once puller mechanism is attached and secure, no amount of force will move the wrench enabling the arm to pop off. Have tried on both sides.
Any tips, tricks?
Thanks

I have the same question. The crank arm needs to be replaced on my brand new bike.

I don't know how to help but the kit they sent me from Echelon literally made me scratch my head. it's hand tools and the crank came right off, with my own tools I couldn't get the thing to budge, I couldn't even get the nut loose.

I think you need a special 'pusher-type tool that threads into the crank arm from where the retainer nut is removed.
I think this Park tool (CCP-1) will also do the job. The tool's nut threads into the crank arm, where the original retaining nut was removed, then the handle screws into that nut and pushes against the end of the single thread until the crank arm 'pops-off' the square, tapered wedges, that are holding the crank arm on, tightly.
(If Echelon can't send you a tool, check a local bike shop, or eBay.)
